A total of 763,375 tourist arrivals were recorded in 2025, representing an increase compared to the previous year. Land arrivals remained the largest contributor with 435,340 arrivals, followed by air arrivals with 286,749 arrivals, while sea arrivals accounted for 41,286 arrivals.
In 2025, the highest number of air arrivals was recorded in November with 28,322 arrivals, while land arrivals peaked in December with 51,391 arrivals. Sea arrivals also recorded their highest volume in February with 8,776 arrivals. Overall, total tourist arrivals reached their highest level in December. The higher arrivals observed during these peak months may reflect increased travel demand associated with holiday periods, festive seasons and cross-border travel activities towards the end of the year.
